Especially here in the PNW. However, we are commited to pushing the needle forward and leading by example with an “artist first” approach to all our productions. We aim to keep event production costs under $2000 (for sound, videography, set decor and marketing) so that ALL remaining proceeds from ticket sales can benefit our performers. We are not paying a living wage (YET) but we aim to increase pay with every show we do. So far, we are 3 for 3 :)
By providing opportunities for artists to showcase their work as a solo, duo or small group - we are able to pay higher wages, and offer a unique space to showcase individual artistry and expression.
In addition to offering free rehearsal space, we also offer creative and financial support for costuming and act development. Artists have full access for coaching or questions during their show prep
We know the artists make the show. We prioritize respectful and appreciative communication with
everyone involved, so the artists love to be here, and you get a better show!
Additionally, we provide rehearsal space free of charge, coaching and consultation in act development, styling and costuming support, individual artist promotions, and a variety of opportunities for performers of various disciplines.
Great question!
Muse Movement is on a mission to reshape how artists are supported, providing fair pay, resources, and artistic freedom. This holiday season, you can be part of this transformative journey by donating to our cause.
Your contribution helps us:
Offer fair compensation to our performers. Provide free studio space and creative resources. Create inclusive, magical shows that enrich our community.
On average, each production costs $2,000 in production costs and $4,000 in artists pay. We are self funded, so every dollar makes a difference!
Thank you for supporting the arts and believing in what we do. Together, we can continue empowering artists and building something truly special.
