So many drop-in teachers assume adults are dancing just for fun or fitness and don’t want any feedback or corrections. I think that’s selling people short, which is why I began focusing my classes on adult dancers. My goal is to treat students of all ages the same way – and I saw incredible growth when applying my kid-training methods to adult dancers. My classes sold out every week!
When COVID hit, I transitioned online, adding mindset coaching to keep our community connected and strengthen my role as a leader. As the world reopened, I embraced a holistic approach, focusing on the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of my students.
This journey from high school dancer to a dedicated professional has been filled with challenges and triumphs, and I remain committed to helping dancers of all ages and backgrounds realize their full potential.
My dance journey began when I joined my high school dance team on a whim, despite having zero experience with choreography. I made the team but faced a not-so-supportive environment, like many of you experienced in childhood dance classes…
Though my coach laughed at my dream of pursuing dance, I was determined to follow my passion. In college, I led my school dance team, began choreographing, and leaned into my passion of teaching and mentoring. Eventually, I opened a studio - giving me over a decade of experience building powerful curriculums, communities and developing dancers to their full potential!
