To my dancers & families:
Words can’t describe how blessed I feel to have been a part of Studio West Dance Academy during the last 10 years. I surely would not be the teacher, dancer, or choreographer I am now without my experiences at our studio. I am so grateful to have been a part of so many dancer’s journeys over the last decade – and to get the Beat Box up and running (not just running, thriving!) has been a dream come true.

I can’t even quantify the amount of literal blood, sweat and tears that have made this vision a reality. The experience has completely changed my life. For better or worse, I am grateful for every day that was spent building this dream and working with future generations of dancers. That being said, I’ve had some major life changes in the last few years that called for me to find additional employment to make ends meet.

I am writing to tell you that I’ve come to a crossroads in my career, and have decided to close this chapter. I will not be returning to Studio West Dance Academy for the 2019-2020 season.

It was my intention and hope this year to do as much as I could to ease the transition. In doing so, I’ve scaled back the amount of classes I take on, and given more leadership and direction to the other incredible instructors on our staff.

My entire heart and soul is in this studio and I am confident that we have set the foundation for our dancers, staff, and studio to do nothing but thrive in the coming years.

Thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey. I will ALWAYS be here for you cheering you on 🙏🏽😌
