To be honest, I’m not great with blogging. I overthink everything and doubt the message I’m putting out there. I always aim to be authentically me, but with that comes a lot of vulnerability. I understand why so many people choose NOT to be vulnerable.

Reflecting on the past, I’ve lost myself in the past by not being authentic. I’ve lost a lot of myself by wondering what other people think about me and what I’m doing. A friend once told me that artists need a certain amount of connection and a certain amount of isolation. I’ve spent the better part of the last few years connecting and networking my butt off. I’ve been in connection overload.

It’s time for some reflection and isolation. At the end of the day, we have to remember that followers/likes and shares aren’t real.  I still have work to do in real life to create a life I love and feel proud of.

So. I’m taking a bit of a break from social media. Maybe not the smartest move when I depend on it for marketing and promo etc. but its v necessary right now

That being said, here’s how you can stay in touch this month.
